Nike was founded by University of Oregon track athlete Phil Knight and his coach Bill Bowerman in Beaverton, Oregon. The company's first shoe was based on Bowerman's waffle outsole that was made with a waffle iron. The first collection launched in 1971 featuring the "Swoosh" and the name Nike, derived from the Greek goddess of victory. Mid distance runner -
These shoes are very comfortable, never had to have a break in period, no blisters. I am an under pronator and found these shoes excellent for that while still providing arch support. I would NOT suggest these for people with pronation problems.

Greatest summer shoes ever!!
I am a 63 year old nurse who has circulation issues and these shoes were so comfortable and supportive from the get go. The minute I put them on they were comfy just like others I've had to break in for months. They look great and kept my feet happy all summer.

Nice shoe -
I love the look of the shoe. However, it seems, my foot is constantly in a decline position in the shoe. Sometimes when spinning, my foot goes to sleep with these shoes. I know they are not for spinning, but I was hoping I could use them for all my workout classes.

A major bang for your buck -
Light weight, fit like a glove, unbelievable mid foot cushioning, at an unbelievable price (with free shipping!). I am a heavier runner who averages 35 - 40 miles a week.

Great shoe, great customer service!
This is my first pair of Shox so I can't compare them to the other styles but they seem to be pretty comfortable and look really cool! I was very, very happy when I received an e-mail from Zappos saying they had upgraded my shipping for free. I ordered the shoes on a Friday afternoon and received them by Tuesday. In this day and age, customer service is nonexistent so it is wonderful to find a company who still believes in making their customers happy! I could've got the shoes from someplace else for less money but I firmly believe that good customer service is worth a few extra bucks! From now on, I will always check Zappos first when I need shoes.

I never was able to wear Nike before, but since my foot has grown again after 50 years, I find that a size 11.5 sneaker is just right. 11.5 fits me like an 11 in other brands. Thank you for building a shoe that fits with good looks!

The best yoga pants ever -
I had the capris version of these and loved them. I bought both colors of the full length version because they truly are a "Perfect Fit Pant" - at least for my body type. Perfect length (I'm 5'7"), perfect weight (a bit heavy for cool winters), perfect fit (waist band holds in my tummy nicely) and just oh so comfortable. I work from home, and these pants are my new uniform!

Love this shoe, these shoes are so hard to find. They fit like a glove and are very light. I have tried many different pairs of Nike running shoes and Nike Free 5.0 are my favorite shoe to run in.

Great shoes for soccer or casual wear. True to size, great for serious indoor play, look great on the street. They also have added protection near the heel for game-time protection.

These are super-stylish shoes that are sure to garner compliments whenever you wear them. The dragon on the toe is cool, but subtle enough not to be flashy. The dragon on the side is a little more out there, but you only catch a glimpse of it below your pants cuff. The stitching across the instep is wire, which is a nice luxurious touch. As for sizing, definitely order a full size smaller than what you normally wear. Mark Nasons run big anyway, but the pointed toe ones are especially long. Unfortunately, the instep is also small and narrow, so perfect sizing can be a challenge.

The Nike shoe is a great sneaker and is very comfortable. We have been buying this type of sneaker in various colors because of the comfort. My son's shoe size is 14-15. I would like to see more shoes offered in this size. I love Zappos in that it offers the free shipping and return. I am becoming a more regular user. I would like to see periodic coupons as it makes the customer feel they are getting a bargain and a reason why you need to make a purchase. (My justification to my husband on how much money I saved him!)

Finally Nike has realized that not everyone has narrow and small feet!!!! They are back to the Nike of long ago. I purchased a pair in May and another pair in September and ran the Nike Women's marathon in them...they are great...comfy with cushioning like clouds!!!! Thank you NIKE!!! Hope they don't change them soon!!!

Great for active boys! We bought these for school and my 9 year old son loves them. His feet are comfy all day and if he gets them muddy they wash up just like new.

Looks aren't everything!
I think this shoe looks great, sporty but feminine. I think it is build well . . . but for some reason I'm not getting the support and comfort I hoped for. It may be my personal foot, unsure!! I LOVE the trail-type bottom though; it works well for my life.

Excellent walking shoe - Very padded and comfortable. I have high arches and this shoe provides excellent support. I bought several pairs to use for distance walking and the Komen 3-Day (60 mile) walk. They are lightweight and ventilated, very cushiony. I highly recommend.

Comfy!
My first run in these was an 11.5 mile run yesterday. I was a bit nervous about breaking them in over such a long run, but they felt so comfortable, I thought it would be ok! No breaking in was necessary. They were comfortable and lightweight, and they caused no blisters along the way.
I will say that they felt a BIT small, but I think going up a half size would make them too big for me. Obviously if it was a problem, I would have been in a world of pain during my run yesterday.
They don't have a whole lot of arch support, but for me that works well.

They’re the best! Super trendy, except if you don’t have much yellow or green to match it with. Great for indoor soccer (: SUPER SUPER bright, like highlighter bright. xD But all my friends when they first saw them were like 'dangg nice shoes' lol.

Versatile, lightweight cross training shoe -
I use this for martial arts based cross training...very comfortable, light, flexible. Replaced New Balance shoes... now a convert! Bought a 1/2 size larger...normally do this...this shoe was just right.
