Good but pricey!
I'm an adult with child-size feet and wanted an adult-looking basic shoe for cold wintery weather. These are comfortable and fairly warm with good traction, so they work for me. Probably a bit pricey for a growing child's foot though.

2008: The Year of the Clunky Mary Janes -
Options for mary janes to coordinate with a new fancy/funky winter coat seemed limited, this year, to clunky and clunkier.
My granddaughter is 4 & 1/2 and accustomed to wearing boots, though not fashion boots; sneakers and sometimes sandals in summer. She found these Primigis uncomfortable at first (I think she resisted the pressure on and around her toes), but I suspect she'll grow used to the fit, motivated by the fact that the shoes are dressy and complement her coat. She's the younger sibling of two boys and enjoys being the princess of the family. Everyone knows that princesses wear shiny patent mary janes. These will be occasional shoes, but it's always nice to be prepared for the exceptional.
Primigi makes fine, supportive, intelligently constructed, quality footwear. The Azalea-Es are sensible, if not sleek, and apparently trendy. Still, I won't miss this old-lady version of a graceful classic when it's gone, and although the coat will surely be worn for two years, I bought just one pair of the shoes (in the child's current size).
Here's to the mary janes of 2009-10, to Primigi, a brand I trust, and to Zappos for its superlative customer service!

My daughter loves them -
We love Geox in general. They are breathable and stinky feet with active kids are a thing of the past. We initially ordered my daughter's shoe size but the opening of the shoe was narrow (despite my daughter's narrow feet) and it was hard to get them in and out. We went one size up and they fit perfectly. Notice also that the toe area is not wide, if in doubt I recommend sizing up. Shes been using these sneakers daily since school started and they still look like new. We received many compliments. And as always with Zappos, the sneakers arrived the next day after ordering.

Love those sneakers -
My son has been wearing these sneakers daily since he started Kindergarten this year. They still look like new. We got the beige/orange combo color and it goes with all his outfits. They are very comfortable and so easy to put on and take off by himself. No worries about laces coming loose while away for the whole day at school. They were a bit stiff when first tried on, but they were broken in in a week. Love the shoes and highly recommend Geox in general for sweaty feet (like my son's feet). No more stinky little toes.

Best winter shoes!
My 6 yr. old son is used to wear Eccos for winter. They are warm, waterproof, and easy to put on. He has a high arch, but these still fit great. Was glad to find it on Zappos!
They also last a lifetime, we were passing down smaller sizes to our nephew, it always looks like new and lasts another season. Great investment!

Slippers for my Grandson -
When my children were young, I always purchased slippers from Germany for them. I was very happy to find your website offering these absolutely wonderful slippers. They are just what I expected and then some; the construction is flawless; the fit just perfect; they are easy to take off and put on; the slippers are warm and their construction superior to any slippers offered at the malls. They are so cute and so very practical...worth every single penny. Also, your service and response time was outstanding. Thanks...

Ecco Kids Jill Tulip Suede -
A great shoe for our Kindergartener. She can wear this with dresses, jeans, pants, you name it and it allows her to play without slipping. Both cute and functional for an active child. Meant for hose or a thinner/average sock; no thick sport socks. Make sure you have a suede brush to give it a bit of freshening up from time to time.

Order smaller size if going by US sizes!
These run a LOT bigger than listed. I ordered a size 4 for my daughter. (I wear a size 6US and they fit me with wiggle room for my toe... although a bit snug on the width.) I guess its close to a boys shoe size 4US.

Beautiful Shoe, But Narrow -
This really is a well made and beautiful shoe - I ordered the red patent leather. However, if your child wears a medium width which may be borderline wide width, this shoe is not for you. My daughter unfortunately falls in that category, so I had to return the shoe. As always, Zappos response to the return was excellent!

Overall pretty good -
I love Ecco because their shoes are usually pretty good for the comfort of the feet, and I want my princess to keep her feet healthy and comfy. The only thing I didn't like of these shoes is that the tip of the shoe is made of some plastic material that peels off quite easy making the shoe look bad.

Great every day boot -
We purchased a different Ecco boot for our then 3 1/2 year old son last winter- and he wore them almost everyday- yet they still looked brand new at the end of the season. I thought I'd buy the same brand this year, and have not been disappointed. This boot keeps his feet warm (yet not too warm) and dry- and are easy to get on and off, and fit hit like a light weight athletic shoe. These are absolutely great for our Chicago area ice, snow and slush. I highly recommend these, and will continue to buy them each year from Zappos! At this point, any other boot would be a disappointment!

I bought these in silver to match a dress for a semiformal. I usually wear a 5 or 5.5 but based on the other reviews I bought these in a 5 and the fit was PERFECT. I wore these for hours and even danced in them without too much discomfort. My feet were a little tired by the end of the night, but nothing too bad. I'm thinking about getting them in other colors because it's not too often that I find such comfortable and cute shoes for my teeny-tiny feet :)

Not the usual Ecco quality -
I think I will return these because they are a lot stiffer than most Ecco's and my son says they hurt his feet. He has a narrow to average size foot. Most Eccos are more flexible and comfortable out of the box.

Absolutely Stunning!
My daughter absolutely loved these shoes-they not only look stunning-they fit very comfortably. I buy all of my daughter's shoes; spring, summer, fall, and winter at Zappos-the customer service is THE BEST! All the great brands they offer and the quality of the products are #1. My daughter and I can't wait to get our box-we always get it the next day! We look forward to seeing the UPS truck stop in front of our house.
My daughter calls these her "Lucky Shoes" and I call all the shoes we order from Zappos "LUCKY SHOES."

Heel is 2-3/4 inches, not 2-1/4 inches - I measured it because it seemed higher than stated (and it is). I ordered and returned these. I ordered a size larger because they didn't have my size. Even so, they were a bit narrow across the instep. Calf fit my wider-than-normal calves. The boots are cute because the ankles are quite narrow so they give your leg a feminine look. The cowboy heel makes these boots jeans/casual only - not versatile enough for my wardrobe, so back they went. I sort of miss them, and am sure they found a good home.

We love the look of the shoe. However, we almost sent them back because the zipper got stuck EVERY TIME on the lining! My daughter really wanted the boots so I cut the 1/8th inch lining out and it has been fine. Definitely something the manufacture should fix.

Not only are they comfortable and rugged and waterproof, but they are also just a little bit blingy, and a perfect combo of colors and sparkles for a little girl. We are going to Scotland over the holidays and she will take full advantage of their functionality, style, and comfort.

These are really cute boots very well made etc... I think they are very comfortable. However, they are really tight around the calves. I am a very small girl and they are still too tight around the calf these are made for people with freakishly small calves so be aware.
