I just saw you all on the Oprah Winfrey show and I had to write right away and tell you how wonderful you promote good customer service! I owned a hair salon for 20 years and the girls I worked with and also our clients to this day are like one huge extended family. Before computers I owned a typewriter (electric!) and whenever I received poor customer service I would get out the old typewriter and start tapping away. All the girls would say, “Uh-oh! Look out! Michelle has the typewriter out!” I expected to be treated like I treated my clients when I was patronizing a store. Of course, our standards were hard to beat, but we enjoyed our jobs and you can always tell if someone likes what they are doing. My congratulations to all of you and I envy you your jobs!
